Zachary Seely

Contemporary Music

 

 

Zachary Seely (b. 1988 New York, he/they) is a composer, conductor, guitarist/improvisor from Leipzig.
He is the founding director of the Contemporary Insights ensemble/concert series.
Seely has premiered numerous works as a conductor and his own works have been programmed by performers and ensembles throughout Europe and the United States.
Seely received a terminal degree in music composition from the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Leipzig. He received an MM from BGSU in music composition, and a BA from NJCU in music education with a specialization in classical guitar performance. Seely studied Contemporary Orchestral Conducting at the Strasbourg Conservatoire.
