Irina Andernach Aguilera ist the Executive Assistant at Forte e.V., where she is responsible for general administrative tasks. 

She grew up in Mexico and moved to Germany at the age of 17 to study Musicology at the University of Leipzig, where she is currently completing her Master’s degree. She is also an active double bassist and performs with several orchestras in and around Leipzig. Her studies have focused primarily on classical music, particularly symphonic repertoire. She is currently researching topics related to musical cultural appropriation and colonialism in the Latin American context.
